$100 Oil Looms Large Amid US-Iran Tensions
WTI and Brent crude oil prices have extended their gains this week as renewed tensions between the United States and Iran around the Strait of Hormuz increased supply concerns.
The escalation has pushed oil prices closer to the psychologically important $100 level, with WTI climbing approximately 0.9% to $92.30 on Monday.
Despite an extended US holiday weekend, oil markets remained active, with Brent gaining more than 1% to around $97.50.
