$1.6 Billion Investment in Louisiana Natural Gas Infrastructure Announced by Black Bayou Energy Hub
A major energy company is investing $1.6 billion in Louisiana's natural gas infrastructure, with plans to strengthen the state's liquefied natural gas corridor.
The project, led by Black Bayou Energy Hub, LLC, will see significant investments at its Lafayette headquarters and a new development in Cameron Parish.
The expansion aims to meet growing demand from LNG exporters, power generators, utilities, and manufacturers. The company is expected to create 23 direct jobs and retain five existing positions, with the potential for up to 58 total new job opportunities across the Southwest and Acadiana Regions.
