$65.5 Million DOE Funding Round Targets Domestic Fossil Fuel Infrastructure

The U.S. Department of Energy has launched a $65.5 million funding round to support domestic fossil fuel infrastructure, specifically targeting production and delivery technologies.

The program aims to strengthen domestic oil and natural gas production, improve energy infrastructure efficiency, and turn underused resources into higher-value products.

Proposals can focus on three areas: converting stranded or flared streams into transportable products, reducing losses and strengthening chemical supply chains with equipment and materials, and implementing digital tools like AI-driven monitoring for upstream and midstream operations.
