$7.5 Billion Oil Revenue Transferred to Iranian Central Bank
The Iranian government has successfully transferred $7.5 billion in oil revenue to its central bank within the first four months of the current calendar year.
This amount is expected to cover the country's foreign exchange spending needs from July to December, according to a report by Fars news agency citing information from the Iranian Ministry of Petroleum.
The revenue target for oil sales set in the state budget for March 21, 2026 to March 20, 2027 has been met at 99%, with Iran selling enough oil outside the US naval blockade to meet this goal.
