Aba Power Sees Improved Electricity Supply After Heirs Energies Maintenance Completion
Nigeria's Aba Power is experiencing improved electricity supply after Heirs Energies completed its turnaround maintenance at its associated gas gathering facilities in Agbada, near Port Harcourt.
Geometric Power, a 188-megawatt power plant in Abia State, has started receiving natural gas from Heirs Energies, which will help restore reliable electricity to the nine local government areas within the Aba Ring-fenced area.
The managing director of Geometric Power, Nonso Okolo, confirmed that non-gas supply in the last few days had a negative impact on socioeconomic activities in Aba.
