AFRY Appointed as International Technical Advisor for Thai Binh LNG Project
Swedish engineering and design company AFRY has been appointed as International Technical Advisor for the Thai Binh LNG-to-Power project in Hung Yen, Vietnam.
The project involves a 1.5 GW power plant that will be fueled by liquefied natural gas (LNG) supplied through a floating terminal.
AFRY will provide technical advisory services covering both offshore and onshore infrastructure throughout the project's development, including infrastructure for receiving LNG, subsea gas pipeline systems, marine facilities, offshore surveys, and the combined-cycle power plant.
The Thai Binh LNG Power JSC has selected AFRY due to its extensive experience in LNG-to-power developments and a solid track record in delivering technical advisory and engineering services for complex energy infrastructure.
