AFRY Chosen for Thai Binh LNG-to-Power Project in Vietnam

AFRY has been chosen as the International Technical Advisor (ITA) for the 1.5 GW Thai Binh LNG-to-Power project in Hung Yen, Vietnam. As part of this role, AFRY will provide technical advisory services for the project's offshore and onshore infrastructure.

The assignment is a key step towards developing liquefied natural gas (LNG) infrastructure in Vietnam to meet growing electricity demand. AFRY will focus on providing expertise for the construction of offshore LNG receiving infrastructure and combined-cycle power plants (CCPP).

Thai Binh LNG Power JSC's CEO, Yasushi Kuno, praised AFRY's extensive experience in LNG-to-power developments and its local presence in Southeast Asia.
