AFRY Selected for 1.5GW LNG Project in Vietnam
AFRY has been selected as an international technical advisor for the Thai Binh LNG project in Vietnam. The facility will have a capacity of 1.5 GW and combine liquefied natural gas (LNG) infrastructure with electricity generation.
The project, valued at $2.69 million, includes a floating LNG terminal connected to a gas-fired power plant. AFRY's technical support will cover both land-based components and marine infrastructure during the development phase.
AFRY's CEO, Yasushi Kuno, highlighted their experience in projects integrating LNG and power generation: 'AFRY brings extensive experience in developing LNG-fired power generation projects and a strong track record in providing technical advisory and engineering services for complex energy infrastructure.'
