Agnico Eagle Mines Ltd. (AEM:TSX; AEM:NYSE) set a new record for quarterly free cash flow, reaching $1.335 billion in Q2 2026.
The company achieved this milestone due to its strong realized gold prices, solid production across its diversified portfolio, and disciplined cost control that kept all-in sustaining costs at $1,459 per ounce.
Agnico Eagle's performance was driven by the success of its mines in Canada, Australia, Finland, and Mexico, particularly Detour Lake, Kittila, and Fosterville.
The company also reported a net income of $1.6 billion or $3.19 per share and returned a record $625 million to shareholders through dividends and $400 million in share repurchases.
