The demand for AI computing power has driven a surge in copper foil operations and high-speed copper cable production, leading to gains in stocks such as Taichenguang and Hengdongguang.
According to Foxconn Industrial Internet's semi-annual report, the company saw substantial profit growth due to the strong momentum of AI computing infrastructure. The report also highlighted the growing demand for high-speed copper cables as a key short-range interconnect solution for AI servers.
The Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization has announced plans to create tiered supply systems that synergize 'large clusters + small clusters + edge computing,' building 100,000-card-level ultra-large-scale intelligent computing clusters in various districts. This move aims to meet ultra-low-latency computing demands from enterprises and individuals.
