Allied Gold Posts Strong Second-Quarter Production Results
Allied Gold Corporation reported its preliminary second-quarter operating results for 2026. The company produced 97,429 gold ounces in the second quarter and 193,445 gold ounces for the half year. This reflects continued momentum as Allied heads into the second half of the year.
The production is largely from operational improvements and mine sequencing at existing mines, with the Kurmuk Mine set to start operations in August. The company's All-in Sustaining Costs (AISC) are expected to be below $2,200 per ounce of gold sold, with AISC margins expected to remain strong due to lower costs and higher realized gold prices.
The company's cash balances stand at an estimated $190 million as of June 30. This is primarily due to growth capital expenditures for the Kurmuk Mine and normal-course tax payments.
