The Ksi Lisims LNG project has taken a significant step forward with the awarding of a contract to Allseas for a critical section of the Prince Rupert Gas Transmission (PRGT) pipeline. This connection will link the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin to the planned feedgas supply for the Ksi Lisims LNG facility.

The PRGT pipeline will have a capacity of 2 Bcf/d and is expected to play a crucial role in moving natural gas from Canada to international markets. Despite being one of the largest net exporters of natural gas to the US, Canada has been exploring ways to diversify its export routes.
