Americas Gold and Silver Sees 71% Revenue Spike in Q2, Galena Shaft Upgrade Complete
Americas Gold and Silver reported its financial results for Q2 2026, which saw net revenue increase by 71% year-over-year to $46 million. The company's YTD revenue also rose 126% to $114 million, driven mainly by higher realized silver prices.
The Galena Shaft upgrade increased hoisting capacity by approximately 150%, to 1,350 tons per day. Cosalá silver production reached 337,000 ounces in Q2 2026, a 26% increase from the same period last year. However, Galena's output fell short of expectations at 328,000 ounces due to shaft upgrade downtime and a minor fire.
Americas Gold and Silver settled its variable silver and gold delivery obligations with Sprott and Royal Gold through share issuances and gold delivery, totaling approximately $76 million. As of June 30, 2026, the company had cash of $88.9 million and working capital of $48.6 million.
