Americas Gold and Silver Sees Revenue Surge Amid Infrastructure Upgrades
Americas Gold and Silver reported significant progress in its revitalization strategy during Q2 2026, driven by higher realized silver prices and improved metallurgical recoveries at the Cosala Operations. The company's revenue increased by 71% to $46.3 million for the quarter, with a net loss of $5.0 million or $0.02 per share.
The company completed major infrastructure upgrades at the Galena Complex, including the installation of a fiber optic system and phase 2 shaft upgrades that increased hoisting throughput to 85 tonnes per hour. This is a significant improvement from the previous rate of 42 tonnes per hour.
Americas Gold and Silver also settled remaining silver and gold delivery obligations with Sprott Mining and Royal Gold, which strengthened its capital structure and increased its exposure to future silver prices.
