Americas Gold and Silver USAS reported improved second-quarter results due to higher silver prices and increased production at its Cosalá mine in Mexico.

The company's revenue rose 71% year-over-year to approximately $46.3 million, while net losses decreased to about $5 million from a loss of around $15 million in the prior quarter.

Ceos Paul Huet attributed the improved performance at Cosalá to higher grades, better metallurgical recoveries, and commercial production from the EC-120 area.

The company also completed infrastructure work at its Galena Complex in Idaho and settled its remaining metal-delivery obligations with Sprott Mining Inc. and Royal Gold.
