Ampo Poyam Valves Wins Contract for Riyas NGL Project in Saudi Arabia
A Spanish industrial group has won a contract to supply valves for a major oil project in Saudi Arabia.
Ampo Poyam Valves will provide 180 large-size gate valves, including 148 designed for cryogenic service, for the Riyas NGL Fractionation Trains project in Jubail, Eastern Province. The facility is being constructed by Saudi oil giant Aramco as part of its strategy to enhance natural gas production and processing capabilities.
The project's two parallel fractionation trains will have a capacity of 255,000 barrels per day and produce key NGL products such as ethane, propane, butane, and pentane. Ampo Poyam Valves noted that the contract win strengthens its position as a supplier of highly engineered valve solutions for major oil and gas projects in Saudi Arabia.
