Ansar Allah Attacks Injure 73 in Saudi Arabia as Tensions Escalate
At least 73 people were injured in attacks on Saudi Arabia by Yemen's Ansar Allah, according to the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen.
The coalition vowed to respond firmly to the latest outbreak of hostilities, which began when Ansar Allah declared a naval blockade against Riyadh in July.
The attacks targeted civilian and economic entities in the world's largest oil exporter and de-facto OPEC leader, with strikes hitting targets in the cities of Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran.
Saudi Arabia's energy ministry reported that a number of energy facilities and utilities in the kingdom's southern region were affected, causing fires at several sites and temporarily halting some operations.
