Ansarullah Warns Saudi Arabia: No Safe Place for Vital Facilities
A senior member of Yemen's Ansarullah movement has issued a warning to Saudi Arabia, stating that there is no safe place in the kingdom for its vital facilities. Hizam al-Assad, a member of Ansarullah's political bureau, said oil-producing areas, industrial sites, and other vital facilities across Saudi Arabia are now legitimate targets.
The warning comes after a recent Saudi attack against a correctional facility in al-Jawf left over a dozen casualties, including a visiting child. Al-Assad warned that the threat could have serious economic consequences for Saudi Arabia, saying the 'future of investment in Saudi Arabia is at risk of being destroyed.'
Saudi authorities reported that several sites described as 'civilian and economic' had been targeted in various cities across Saudi Arabia, with 73 people injured as a result. The Energy Ministry stated that the attacks caused fires at multiple sites in the southern region and temporarily disrupted operations.
