Antam Gold Price Hits IDR 2,750,000 per Gram After Monday's Increase

PT Aneka Tambang (Persero) Tbk's (ANTM) gold price rose on Monday to IDR 2,750,000 per gram. This marks an increase of IDR 10,000 from yesterday's trading.

The buyback price of Antam gold also saw a similar rise, increasing by IDR 10,000 to IDR 2,610,000 per gram. Over the past year, the price of Antam gold has gained around 9.52%, up from IDR 2,488,000 per gram at the start of the year.

According to Finance Ministry Regulation (PMK) No. 34/PMK.10/2017, both purchases and buybacks of gold bars are subject to tax. For NPWP holders, the income tax on buyback transactions is 1.5%, while non-NPWP holders face a rate of 3%. Meanwhile, purchases of gold bars are taxed at 0.45% for NPWP holders and 0.9% for buyers without an NPWP.
