APA Corporation reported strong Q2 CY2026 results, exceeding Wall Street's revenue expectations. The oil and gas producer posted $2.52 billion in sales, a 9.2% year-on-year growth, beating analyst estimates by 3.3%. Net income of $1.89 per share was also above consensus at 1%.

APA credited cost discipline, operational improvements in the Permian and Egypt, and exploration progress as key drivers of its performance. CEO John J. Christmann highlighted ongoing efficiency initiatives, stating that APA has met oil production targets with fewer rigs and lower capital intensity.

The company expects to achieve further capital efficiency gains and a durable free cash flow profile, driven by continued cost discipline and major project milestones. APA aims to reach its $3 billion net debt target ahead of schedule, supporting ongoing share buybacks and dividends.
