Arab League Slams Iran for Oil Tanker Attack in Hormuz
The Arab League has strongly condemned Iran's attack on two UAE-flagged oil tankers transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
In its official Friday statement, the League labeled the incident an unacceptable and blatant violation of international law and UN Security Council Resolution 2817.
The League warned that ongoing Iranian provocations directly threaten freedom of navigation while endangering global energy security and international trade.
It emphasized the absolute necessity of upholding the Law of the Sea, urging Tehran to immediately halt its escalatory behavior and refrain from any actions that compromise maritime safety.
