Arab States Unite Against Iran-Backed Drone Attacks on Saudi Oil Facilities

Arab states have condemned drone attacks targeting Saudi oil facilities in the Eastern Province and Riyadh. The UAE Foreign Ministry described the attacks as a 'flagrant violation of Saudi sovereignty' and a threat to its security and stability.

Bahrain's Foreign Ministry also condemned the attack, calling it a 'terrorist attack' that violates international law and the UN Charter. Kuwait expressed strong condemnation and denunciation of the attacks, renewing its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and support for all measures taken to safeguard its security and sovereignty.

The GCC Secretary-General described the attacks as a 'serious escalation' and a 'flagrant violation of international law', expressing support for all measures Saudi Arabia takes to protect its security and sovereignty. The Muslim World League Secretary-General also condemned the attacks, reaffirming full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and all measures it takes to safeguard its security and sovereignty.

Saudi air defense systems intercepted and destroyed six drones launched toward the Eastern Province and three toward Riyadh, a military source told SPA. No casualties or damage were reported as a result of the attacks.
