Aramco Profits Soar as US-Iran Conflict Drives Oil Prices Higher
Saudi energy giant Aramco reported a significant increase in its second-quarter net income due to the ongoing US-Iran conflict driving global oil prices higher.
The company's net income reached $32.7 billion, up from $22.67 billion in the same quarter last year, marking a 44% growth.
Aramco President and Chief Executive Officer Amin H. Nasser said that the unprecedented supply disruption defined the performance of the company during the first six months.
The firm maintained business continuity and sustained production despite the challenging regional environment.
