Aramco Refinery Fire in Jazan Quickly Extinguished Without Casualties

A fire broke out at the Aramco refinery in Jazan, Saudi Arabia on Sunday morning. The flames were quickly extinguished by industrial security teams without causing any casualties.

The refinery has a processing capacity of approximately 400,000 barrels of crude oil per day and primarily produces gasoline and diesel with ultra-low sulfur content.

However, the facility has been affected by previous attacks from the Houthi group in Yemen, which caused significant damage. Aramco's CEO Amin Nasser stated that the recent attacks have led to production disruptions but expressed optimism about restoring operations.
