Aramco Sees 44% Net Income Boost Amid US-Iran Conflict-Driven Oil Price Surge
Saudi energy giant Aramco reported significant growth in its second-quarter net income, increasing by 44% year-over-year. The surge is attributed to the ongoing US-Iran conflict driving global oil prices higher and disrupting regional supply chains.
Aramco's quarterly net income reached $32.7 billion, up from $22.67 billion in the same quarter last year. For the first half of 2025, the company's net income reached $65.2 billion, a 34% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
Aramco President and Chief Executive Officer Amin H. Nasser highlighted that the firm maintained business continuity and sustained production despite challenging regional circumstances. He attributed the performance to the company's diverse asset base.
