Aramco Undeterred by July Attacks
Saudi Aramco, the energy giant behind Saudi Arabia's oil production, has reported that attacks on its assets in July had no material impact on operations. This is according to CEO Amin Nasser, who made the comments after the company released its latest report.
The attacks targeted key infrastructure across the kingdom, with images emerging of tank fires and flaring at various sites. However, despite these incidents, Saudi Aramco's operations were not significantly affected, according to Nasser.
The Strait of Hormuz remains disrupted due to ongoing tensions between Saudi Arabia and Iran, which has led to increased oil prices. Despite this, Saudi Aramco is working to expand its oil export capacity as it navigates the current market conditions.
