Arizona Gas Prices Fall as Crude Oil Prices Tumble
Gas prices in Chandler and across Arizona have seen a decrease this week due to falling crude oil prices and optimism about resuming normal operations at the Strait of Hormuz.
According to AAA Arizona, gas prices dropped by 7 cents over the past week to settle at $4.42 a gallon in the Valley, while prices around the state fell by 9 cents to $4.36 a gallon.
This drop brings some relief to Arizonans, who are still paying about $1.19 more per gallon than they were at this point in 2025, according to Aldo Vazquez, spokesperson for AAA Mountain West Group.
