Gas prices in Arizona have risen sharply this week, hitting $4.37 per gallon according to AAA Arizona's latest report.

The increase of 25 cents from last week is largely attributed to rising crude oil prices, which are currently trading at around $90 per barrel.

Aldo Vazquez, spokesperson for AAA Mountain West Group, noted that volatility in the Strait of Hormuz and regional instability have contributed to this spike in oil prices.
