Armenia Braces for 10-Day Gas Rationing Due to Pipeline Repair
Russian gas supplier Gazprom Armenia has announced that it will suspend natural gas deliveries to Armenia for ten days due to scheduled maintenance and repair work on a key pipeline.
The suspension, which is set to take place from September 15 to 25, is aimed at allowing the company to carry out comprehensive repair work on the North Caucasus, Transcaucasia main gas pipeline in Russia.
Gazprom Armenia has assured consumers that they will not be left without gas during this period, citing domestic reserves and additional volumes of gas supplied from Iran as backup measures.
