Arrow Surpasses 6,000 BOE/D Production Record in Colombia and Canada
Arrow Exploration Corp., a high-growth operator with assets in Colombia and Canada, reported record production of over 6,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d). This milestone surpasses Arrow's previous production records and reflects recent drilling successes and workover results.
The company attributed the increase to its portfolio of assets across key hydrocarbon basins. Arrow holds a 50% beneficial interest in the Tapir Block in Colombia, where it has seen outstanding results from drilling and workovers. The Thorsby field acquisition in Alberta, Canada, also contributed to the record production.
Arrow's estimated cash balance is $21.8 million as of September 1, 2026, after paying $8.9 million for the Thorsby acquisition. The company continues to enjoy a strong balance sheet while growing production and associated cash balances.
The Icaco-6 well (IC-6) experienced lost circulation and drilling mud losses before reaching target depth due to a fault. Management decided to case the well prematurely and complete it as a water disposal well, which will reduce operating costs. The well encountered net pay in the Carbonera C7 formation and Guadalupe Formation.
Arrow is optimistic about future production potential, citing its prospect-rich inventory and strong netbacks. The company continues constructive discussions with regulatory bodies on the Tapir extension, which could lead to increased oil and gas development in Colombia under President De La Espriella's vision.
