Asian markets followed Wall Street's upward trend on Monday, driven by a U.S. jobs report that reduced the likelihood of immediate interest rate hikes.

The report softened the market's expectations for an interest rate increase, as investors anticipate Wednesday's consumer price report to show a modest rise in fuel costs.

Brent crude prices rose 0.9% to $84.32 a barrel due to restricted shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, while U.S. crude increased by 0.7% to $78.74 a barrel.
