ASX Set to Extend Gains Amid Easing Oil Prices

The Australian sharemarket is expected to open higher on Wednesday, supported by easing oil prices and record closes on Wall Street. Futures pointed to a gain of 35 points or 0.4% at 6:01 am AEST.

Investors will be watching results from Pinnacle Investment Management, Argo Investments, and Light & Wonder.

The S&P/ASX 200 jumped 126.5 points or 1.4% to 9,145.8 on Tuesday, leaving the benchmark within reach of its March record of 9,200.9.
