Atlantic LNG Shipping Rates Decline Amid Steady US Exports
Atlantic LNG shipping rates decreased this week, according to Spark Commodities. The Pacific rates, however, remained flat compared to the previous week.
The decline in Atlantic rates comes as the European spot LNG price stabilizes, while US LNG exports continue to grow.
Santos, an Australian LNG player, announced that the Papua LNG export project remains on track for a final investment decision (FID) in the fourth quarter of 2026.
