Azerbaijan Boosts Trade with Armenia Through Petroleum Exports

Azerbaijan has exported another shipment of petroleum products to Armenia, including diesel fuel and gasoline. According to Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, on September 5, 16 railcars of diesel fuel weighing 977 metric tons were dispatched from the Bilajari station to Boyuk-Kesik.

This marks a significant milestone in trade between the two countries, with approximately 16,000 metric tons of diesel fuel and about 5,000 metric tons of RON-92 and RON-95 gasoline having been exported from Azerbaijan to Armenia so far.

In addition to petroleum products, transit cargo was also transported, including five railcars of wheat weighing 355 metric tons, three railcars of fertilizer weighing 180 metric tons, and two railcars of timber weighing 138 metric tons. These shipments were transported from Russia to Armenia via Azerbaijan.
