Azerbaijan Crude Oil Exports Soar Threefold in H1 2026

Azerbaijan's crude oil exports to Switzerland have seen significant growth in recent months.

Citing data from the State Customs Committee, Report informs that Azerbaijan exported 272,501.4 tons of crude oil to Switzerland between January and July this year.

This represents a threefold increase compared to the same period last year, with exports valued at $193.6 million, which is an increase of 3.6 times from the previous year's value.

Azerbaijan's total crude oil exports during this period stood at 12.72 million tons, worth $8.03 billion, while foreign trade operations totaled $29.22 billion, with exports accounting for $19.34 billion and imports amounting to $9.881 billion.
