Azerbaijan Crude Oil Exports to Greece Surge in First Half
Azerbaijan's crude oil exports to Greece saw a significant increase in the first half of 2026, according to customs declarations. The country exported 284,374.7 tonnes of crude oil to Greece during this period, valued at $182.8 million. This represents a 22.4% rise in volume compared to the same period last year and a 41.7% increase in value. Crude oil exports to Greece accounted for only 2.8% of Azerbaijan's total exports during this time.
The State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan reported that the country's overall foreign trade turnover reached $24.66 billion, an increase of 1.1% year-on-year. Exports totaled $16.32 billion, a 26.7% rise from last year, while imports fell by 27.6% to $8.34 billion.
