Azerbaijan Facilitates Transit of Russian Wheat to Armenia for Second Time
Azerbaijan will facilitate the transit of Russian wheat to Armenia for the second time this month. A freight train carrying 20 railcars of barley and 21 railcars of wheat is scheduled to depart from Azerbaijan's Bilajari station on September 10. This shipment follows a similar one made last week, which also included grain products.
The move comes as part of efforts to alleviate food shortages in Armenia, which has been struggling with supply chain disruptions due to the ongoing conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan over Nagorno-Karabakh.
