Azerbaijan Gas Exports Rise in Volume, Fall in Value

Azerbaijan's gas exports have seen an increase in volume but a decrease in value during the first seven months of this year, according to recent data. During January-July of this year, Azerbaijan exported 14.4277 billion cubic meters of natural gas, up 0.13 percent compared with the same period last year.

The value of exported natural gas decreased by 7.3 percent to $4.8824 billion during this time. This marks a contrast to the previous year's performance when Azerbaijan exported natural gas for approximately $5.25 billion.
