Azerbaijan has signaled its willingness to supply natural gas to Ukraine as part of deepening cooperation between the two countries in energy, reconstruction, and trade. The offer was made during high-level talks in Kyiv.

Energy cooperation emerged as a key focus of discussions between Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Ceyhun Bayramov and Ukrainian officials. Bayramov highlighted SOCAR's long-standing presence in Ukraine, describing it as a cornerstone of economic ties between the two countries.

Azerbaijan currently exports natural gas to 16 countries, including 12 European states, 10 of which are members of the European Union. Bayramov said Azerbaijan would be prepared to supply gas to Ukraine if required.
