The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) has released its latest figures on daily oil production in Azerbaijan. According to OPEC's monthly report, Azerbaijan's average daily crude oil production decreased by 7,000 barrels in August compared to the previous month, dropping from 455,000 barrels to 448,000 barrels.

This decline marks a shift downward after two consecutive quarters of increases. In the first quarter of this year, Azerbaijan's average daily crude oil production was at 454,000 barrels, and it rose by 2,000 barrels in the second quarter to reach 456,000 barrels.

Azerbaijan's 2025 production target stands at 461,000 barrels, which is 20,000 barrels less than the figure for 2024. These numbers indicate a slight decrease in oil production over time but do not specify any potential causes or implications of this trend.
