Azerbaijan Retakes Lead as Turkey's Largest Pipeline Gas Supplier
Azerbaijan has reclaimed its position as Turkey's largest pipeline gas supplier in June, according to data from the country's Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA). This marks the fourth consecutive year that Azerbaijan has topped the list.
The data shows that Azerbaijan supplied around 1.01 billion cubic meters of gas to Turkey in June, followed by Iran with 883 million cubic meters and Russia with 882 million cubic meters.
Turkey's total natural gas imports decreased by 6.19% in June compared to the same month last year, falling to around 3.06 billion cubic meters from 3.26 billion cubic meters in June 2025.
