Azerbaijan Surpasses Iran as Türkiye's Top Gas Supplier

Azerbaijan emerged as Türkiye's top gas supplier in June, according to data compiled by the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK).

The country imported approximately 1.01 billion cubic meters of pipeline gas from Azerbaijan during the month.

This was followed by Iran with 883 million cubic meters and Russia with 882 million cubic meters.

In total, pipeline deliveries accounted for about 2.78 billion cubic meters of Türkiye's natural gas imports in June, while liquefied natural gas (LNG) imports stood at 282 million cubic meters.
