Azerbaijan's Natural Gas Exports Reach $4.882 Billion

Azerbaijan's natural gas exports reached $4.882 billion in value and 14.428 billion cubic meters in volume from January to July this year, according to the State Customs Committee.

This marks a decrease of $386.7 million or 7.3% in value compared to the same period last year, while the volume increased by 18.019 million tons or 0.1%

In his speech at the Islamic Development Bank Group's Annual Meetings, President Ilham Aliyev highlighted Azerbaijan's significant role as a natural gas supplier, exporting to 16 countries.

Azerbaijan's Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov stated that the country accounts for 8.1% of the European Union's pipeline gas imports, and its strategic importance lies in connecting regions and markets effectively.
