Azerbaijan's Oil Production Declines by 3.1% in First Seven Months
Azerbaijan's oil production continues to show some decline in the first seven months of this year. According to data released by the State Statistics Committee, the country produced 15.54 million tonnes of crude oil, including gas condensate, from January to July 2026.
This marks a 3.1% drop compared to the same period last year. Commercial oil production also declined by the same margin, reaching 15.50 million tonnes. In July alone, crude oil production amounted to 2.27 million tonnes, down 2.9% from the previous year.
The figures come as Azerbaijan's overall oil production has been on a downward trend. Last year, the country produced 27.68 million tonnes of crude oil, including gas condensate, a 4.7% decline from 2024.
