Azerbaijan's Oil Production Forecast Remains Unchanged at 550,000 bpd by 2026
The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) has left its forecast for Azerbaijan's oil production unchanged in its latest Short-Term Energy Outlook. According to the report, the agency expects Azerbaijan's average daily oil production to reach 550,000 barrels per day (bpd) by 2026.
This estimate is consistent with the EIA's previous forecasts, which also predicted an average of 540,000 bpd in both the third and fourth quarters of 2026. For comparison, Azerbaijan's oil production averaged 570,000 bpd in the first and second quarters of 2025 and 560,000 bpd in the third and fourth quarters.
The EIA also reported that Azerbaijan's total liquid hydrocarbon production averaged 570,000 bpd in 2025. It is worth noting that these forecasts are subject to change based on various market and economic factors.
