Azeri Light Crude Dips Below $91 as Global Oil Prices Plummet

The price of Azeri Light crude oil has dropped to $91.04 per barrel on the global market, marking a decline of $0.64 or 0.7% from previous levels.

This decrease follows the latest trading session where September futures for Brent crude were priced at $85.28 per barrel.

The price of Azeri Light crude at Türkiye's Ceyhan port also saw a decline on an FOB basis, falling by $0.99 or 1.11% to $87.89 per barrel.

Azerbaijan's state budget for 2025 is based on an average oil price of $65 per barrel, which is significantly lower than the current market value.
