Badawi Inspects Well Workover Program in Aswan Oil Field
Karim Badawi, Egypt's Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, visited the Baraka oil field in Kom Ombo to inspect a well workover program aimed at restoring crude production from idle wells.
The program is being implemented by the South Valley Egyptian Petroleum Holding Company (Ganope) and targets several crude oil wells with the goal of increasing domestic crude output.
During his visit, Badawi followed up on operations at a newly deployed rig used for well maintenance. The effort aims to support Egypt's efforts to boost its domestic crude production.
