BAJUS Hikes Gold Price by Over Tk 5,482 Per Bhori Amid Market Fluctuations

The Bangladesh Jeweller's Association (BAJUS) has increased gold prices in the local market by Tk 5,482 per bhori. The new rate of 22-carat gold is now Tk 2,46,110 per bhori, effective from Saturday morning at 10am.

This change comes after BAJUS last adjusted gold prices on August 20, when the rate of 22-carat gold, including VAT, was raised by Tk 3,849 to Tk 2,40,628 per bhori.

BAJUS has revised gold prices 106 times so far in 2026, raising rates 54 times and lowering them 51 times. The association's existing rules for ornament exchange and purchase will remain unchanged.
