BAJUS Raises Gold Prices for Third Time in Three Days

The Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) has revised gold prices upward for the third time in three days. On Saturday, the price of 22-carat gold increased by Tk 4,374 per bhori to Tk 234,038 per bhori, including VAT.

The association also raised the price of 21-carat gold by Tk 4,199 to Tk 223,541 per bhori and 18-carat gold by Tk 3,557 to Tk 191,931. The price of traditional-method gold increased by Tk 2,974 to Tk 156,822 per bhori.

The new rates took effect on Saturday, following a meeting of the association's Standing Committee on Pricing and Price Monitoring.
