Baker Hughes Boosts Forecasts on Chart Acquisition, Sees LNG Market Recovery
Baker Hughes has raised its annual forecasts after acquiring Chart Industries for $13.6 billion in July.
The company's CEO, Lorenzo Simonelli, expressed optimism about the liquefied natural gas (LNG) market, stating that 'we see improving visibility toward an LNG order recovery as we move into 2027.'
Baker Hughes now expects revenue of $28.50 billion to $30.30 billion in 2026, up from its previous forecast of $26.65 billion to $28.05 billion.
The acquisition has also led to an increase in adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA), which is expected at $4.88 billion to $5.48 billion this year.
